Darren Bianchi

Founder and CEO

Darren has been working with fluorescents since he was an undergraduate student in chemistry when he worked on the synthesis and scale-up of fluorescent polymers.  After finishing his degree in chemistry, he joined Radiant Color in California in 1990. Starting as a chemist, he progressed through roles of Environmental Manager, Technical Director, VP-Technology, Sr. VP and later became President of Radiant.

Following the sale of Radiant, Mr. Bianchi ran North American sales and technical support for the Dane Group UK (SWADA & Sterling brands).  In 2007 he founded Brilliant Group to serve the needs of the fluorescent market.

 

Under Darren’s leadership Brilliant has been growing consistently by focusing on customer experience, technical expertise, and new product development.

Mike Oberski

Technical Sales Manager

​

Bringing a solid background and nearly thirty years of experience in pigments, polymers and printing inks, Mike has held senior chemistry positions at Flint Ink, their digital ink division Jetrion/EFI, and Dart Container.  He was most recently Technical Industry Manager at BASF Pigments, acquired by DIC/Sun Chemical.

 

Mike holds a BS degree in Polymers & Coating Technology from Eastern Michigan University, has eight patents in printing ink technology and has an additional nine patents pending.  He is the 2022 recipient of the NAPIM Technical Associate Member (TAM) Service Award for contributions to success and support of the Printing Ink Industry.

 

Based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Mike is focused on supporting our customers and managing our distributors in the US and Canadian markets.

Odile Harbaugh

Marketing Manager

Odile is the latest addition to the Brilliant team, having joined in March 2023. Odile brings rich and varied marketing experience ranging from global communications to brand management, new product launches, and digital & social marketing, among others and will be responsible for taking Brilliant’s brand and market presence to the next level.
